BT Speaker Large

  1. Start by downloading the ”MONDO by Defunc” app where you find your apps (App Store & Google Play).
  2. Add your device, then use your app to choose equalizer settings, use the presets, or create your own personalized settings. You can also use your MONDO Large Bluetooth Speaker without the ”MONDO by Defunc” app and enjoy the product with the default audio settings to fit all music genres.
  3. Make sure the speaker is fully charged. Do this by charging the speaker until the battery symbol on the display reaches 100%
  4. Press button 1 for 3 seconds to start the speaker, it will automatically start searching for a pairing device.
  5. When the Bluetooth icon flashes turn on the Bluetooth function on your device. Select “MONDO BT SPEAKER LARGE” in the Bluetooth list to pair the speaker with your device.
  6. When the Bluetooth icon is lit the device is paired and ready to play. Use button 1 to change track and button 2 to control the speaker volume.

  1. Search for ‘Mondo by Defunc’ where you find your apps (App Store & Google Play).
  2. Download the app.
  3. Choose ‘Registration’ if this is the first time you use the app, otherwise, log in with your email and password.
  4. Enter your email and press send to recieve a verification code to your email.
  5. After registrating your account, you will see your MONDO product in the app if you are already connected, if not, the instructions on how to connect will be available in the app.

Now you are ready to use and control all the speaker’s features from your MONDO app!

CONTROL FUNCTIONS (buttons ordered from 1-12 on the speaker)

Press the auracast button (or in the app) on the speakers you wish to pair. One of them should be in transmission mode to become the master and the rest should be in reciever mode.

When the receiver and the master are paired successfully, the receiver sends out a prompt tone, and the screen displays “RECEIVER”.

When connected, the master controls the receiver and the controls on the receiver will not work.

Press the Auracast button (7) on the back of the speaker to leave Auracast mode.

Make sure that:

  • The receiving speaker is not connected or searching for a connection to a device by pressing the Bluetooth button on the speaker.
  • The transmitting speaker (master) is connected to your device when turning on Auracast.
  • Both speakers are in the same room and within a 10-15 meters range.

Use a 3.5mm (with 3 sections) audio cable and connect it to the port (11) in the back of the speaker.

Connect the other end to the device of your choice,

double klick the first button (1) to switch to “AUX-IN”, then press play.

Press and hold the Auracast button (7) on the back for 3s and the speaker will reduce the vocals on the track you are playing. The screen shows “VOICE CUT ON”.

Turn the vocal back on by pressing the Auracast button (7) for 3s again. The screen shows “VOICE CUT OFF”.

The volume affects the capacity of the battery. Just so you know – if you play your music with lower volume, the battery will last even longer between charging (like 8h isn’t enough?).

Plug the USB-C charging cable with the USB-C port on the speaker. This product comes with a high power USB-C cable and requires at least 25W power adapter to charge.

  1. Open the MONDO app and make sure your speaker is connected to your device.
  2. Press Mondo Speaker > Update > Start
  3. Stay in the app until the update is complete and make sure to not play any sounds or answer calls while updating as the update will be abrupted.
  4. When the update is complete you should see that the latest current version is downloaded and the option to start a new update should not be available.

If you’re experiencing unusual or poor sound quality from your speaker, try resetting the EQ settings. The EQ settings remain unchanged from the last use, regardless of the connected device. Extreme customization of EQ settings can sometimes lead to diminished sound quality.

Resetting the EQ can often resolve these issues.

Blinking BT icon: The speaker is searching for a Bluetooth connection.

Solid BT icon: The speaker is connected to a device.

Searching antenna: The master speaker is in transmitter mode and is searching for a receiver to establish auracast.

Searching antenna + ‘RECEIVER’: The speaker is in receiving mode and is searching for a master speaker to establish auracast.

AUXIN: A device is connected through Aux-in.

Microphone: A microphone is connected through cable.

The BT Speaker Large weighs 6.5 kg.

You have 14 days right under Swedish distance selling law to return your item. You must contact customer service at info@defunc.com before returning your item. You have the right to examine the goods you have purchased, but to cancel the purchase your item must be in so-called essentially unchanged condition. Due to hygienic reasons your item cannot be used or tested. It is unfortunately not possible to return headphones once the sealed package has been opened due to personal hygiene reasons.

If you receive your goods and discover that it does not match the one you ordered, if it is damaged, or have other defects, please contact customer service within 14 days after you received your item. Have your order confirmation on hand to facilitate customer service. Customer service will send you a claim form in where you specify what your claim is about. You will get the address where to return the item and as soon as we receive the item and approve the condition, we will send you a new product or refund your money. You will have to pay for the return shipment cost.

Please update your Mondo Headphones through the app according to the instructions below:

  1. Download the “MONDO” app.
  2. Connect your headphones to the device with the app.
  3. Open the app and press the headphones > update > start.
  4. Make sure the update is successful and the latest version is downloaded.
