The great thing about retro-design is that, as a designer you get to choose just how retro you’re going to get. In this case we got inspired by the immensely cool looks defined by the launch of the portable cassette player. Except for the looks though, we obviously choose to use updated technology to deliver a rich sound experience for both listening and talking for a whole day.

*In Sweden a portable cassette player was called a “freestyle” to not upset the trademark attorneys of the Japanese tech giant that launched an iconic product under a name most people associate with the category.
